Marissa Kalkstein, Founder & CEO

Marissa received her Masters of Education in Clinical Counseling, and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board-approved Supervisor. She founded Insight Therapy with the goal to provide mental health counseling as the sole therapist. Her vision quickly evolved and with it Insight Therapy expanded to now include 40+ providers offering a wide range of therapeutic modalities and services, accreditation from The Joint Commission, licensure as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic, and a robust internship and training program to educate and supervise Master’s students aiming to become therapists. She oversees the clinical training and needs of the clinic. Marissa cares deeply about Insight Therapy’s mission and is always willing to help the providers, administrative team, interns, or clients at Insight Therapy wherever there is a need.
While Insight Therapy is the passion project of Marissa’s career, nothing can trump the time spent and love shared with her husband and 3 little girls.
Lateshia Wright, Office Manager
Lateshia Wright, a native of Paterson, New Jersey, relocated to Maryland with her family in 2012. She is a dedicated wife and mother of four who enjoys expressing herself through fashion. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, she has a successful twelve-year career as a Practice Manager in the healthcare system. Alongside her professional pursuits, Lateshia embraces creativity and actively contributes to her community as the President of the PTO Board. With a strong belief in the power of perseverance, she values spending quality time with her loved ones.
