Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I have developed an organic understanding of everyday challenges. My ground level experiences within community, and scholastic spaces have helped me understand the importance of simply listening to people. By asking pertinent questions and allowing my clients to freely express themselves, I’ve been effective in meeting individuals where they are along their mental health journey. Having earned my B.S. in Psychology from Towson University, I’ve focused my professional work in providing direct care services to children, teenagers and young adults. By utilizing interventions related to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, my treatment process has helped a new generation feel less isolated and misunderstood among their peers, family members and friends. 

As the Lead Specialist of Hope Health Systems’ Psychiatric Day Treatment Program, I’ve been able to create positive opportunities for psychoeducation to translate into an ongoing process of healing, recovery and personal rediscovery. My goal is to provide a safe space for others to manage some of the struggles and associated symptoms that have negatively impacted their daily sense of joy.
