Megan Yount, LCSW-C-S
holds a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work (2009) and brings over a decade of experience across Child Protective Services, group homes, schools, juvenile detention, and private practice, a background that allows her to meet clients where they are and tailor care to their unique needs.
She uses an integrative, strengths-based approach, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities while honoring each client as the expert on their own life. Her goal is to create a collaborative, empowering space where people feel truly heard and understood.
Megan’s clinical focus centers on grief and loss, anticipatory grief, complex medical conditions, and hospice and palliative care. She is committed to helping clients build resilience and find meaning during life’s most difficult transitions.
As a Board Approved LCSW Supervisor, she also provides mentorship and guidance to emerging social work and counseling professionals.
